Yes please, missing this possibility is the only reason for me to sometimes use the default gallery.
Agreed! Often work a little bit on my photos during fights and love F-Stop! However the updating of description, etc is slow and cumbersome.October 30, 2018 at 2:44 pm in reply to: Media Viewer: Use gestures/swipes up and down to show image details and rating #7478
I do support this feature request, would love to be able to do multiple file updates!
Just to clarify, currently I have to go through the following sequence to update the image description:
Press menu icon -> details -> scroll down -> press edit description icon.
Would be great to have this pencil icon straight on menu bar. Am using this function a lot these days.
Just wanted to say I love the ability to edit the image description that has recently been added!
I hope you can add a button on the (tablet) main viewer to access it easier, just like the tag editor. Now it’s a bit hidden.

Great to see the view meta-data feature has been added! Great!
Hope editing will be next, eg image description.January 26, 2016 at 4:09 pm in reply to: Metadata empty when opening picture from other app in F-Stop #6680
Just wanted to confirm this is now working fine since one or two updates ago. Thanks!
Hello, do you have an update on plans to include image description? I have purchased another app that can do it, but would rather have this functionality in f-stop. I believe it would make it a killer app for photo management!
Actually sometimes I now use f-stop in stead of acdsee pro!
I have a Synology NAS, so would be nice to see webdav support.
Excellent! Do you have info on an approximate release date?
Also would we be able show image description with the ‘overlayed’ metadata, besides filename, tags, rating, etc? Not just in the image details.
