I’ve downgraded back to 5.5.22 right now where everything works just as I’m used to (including tapping the screen not stopping slideshows, which is honestly more important for my use case), so I’m actually fine now. But thanks a lot for the excellent support, I greatly appreciate it!

Ah, I see, thanks for clarifying. (and thanks in general for the quick replies). I honestly didn’t think this was intended, my apologies. Any chance a future update could bring a settings element that can toggle this feature? Of course I don’t know whether that’s worth the hassle if more people wanted things the other way round, so no hard feelings if this is just how things are now. Just saying it would be cool, haha.

I usually double tap images, so this is how I noticed it. When playing around though I’ve seen that it doesn’t make a difference, the slideshow stops regardless.

I also went through old versions of the app on Aptoide; the last time it worked as expected was in Version 5.5.22
