You can’t really. It’s not yet supported.

We did change this, so it’s expected behavior. We think it’s more in line how other galleries work (thus what most users would expect), and we got some requests for F-Stop to work this way.

Are you talking about double tap or single tap? I am asking because you say “double tap” but in the Play Store review you said “tapping the screen” – which assumes single tap.

OK, I investigated this. First, Basic tab does display these values at the bottom.
As for inconsistencies, that’s 3rd party library we use for metadata works. Not ideal, I agree. I have fixed it now so that it will display 1/50 and 1/30 of the second. This fix will be released in next version.

Can you please send those two images (with different exposure) display to sour support, so we can check.

First check whether Settings//Media Viewer//Best fit is enabled. If it is not please send the mentioned image to our support by email, so we can check. Does it also happen with other image formats (JPGs, …)?

Let me explain how folders in F-Stop work. First, F-Stop never deletes the actual folder. When you delete a folder it will only delete items in the folder and not actual folder. The reason for this is consistency, as if you have any file in the folder which is not shown by F-Stop (PDF for example), F-Stop won’t delete that file, and consequently it can’t delete the folder. So, it doesn’t delete folder even when it is empty, to have same behavior. That’s why you can’t delete created folder. We may however change this, so that when folder is empty, it will get deleted.

As for those those ** folders. In “Folders view” F-Stop shows only folders with images. So, when you create a new folder it will be empty, and F-Stop would not show it. So, it makes an exception to the rule here and it will show those folders as first items but ads ** characters so that it is visible these folders are newly created and empty. When you restart F-Stop, these folders will not be visible any more. It’s by design. When you try to copy files, this folder should still be visible and you can select it, so you can actually move/copy files to it.

This is by design (not a glitch). The fact is that some users actually use this “untagged” section, so they can quickly find untagged images and tag them. So it can not be removed for all users. On the other hand we have not added setting to remove it, as there is literally hundredths of small things in the app that different users want to behave different and if we would add setting for each and every one it would become a mess. Maybe we could add a way to remove/hide it under the Tags section, but honestly no one has ever asked for anything like this, and we tend to first implement things that are asked by more users. I’ll put this on our todo list.

F-Stop now works like all the other apps. When you are in the middle of zoomed image you can not scroll to the next image. You can first scroll all the way to the right, lift the finger, wait for animation to settle and then scroll. Or just zoom out the image.

This is pretty old version. You should update to latest version from Play Store (5.5.22 or 5.5.57). Then check and let me know whether you still have the same issue.

Which version of the app (F-Stop) do you have? Newer versions of Android will not let you select root of SD card when setting permission. However, on newer versions of the app you don’t even have to set the permission, as F-Stop has access to all files. (assuming you did give him permission to access all files, which can be checked in the settings of your phone).
