Could you consider adding a whitelist along with an exclude list? I only want a few media folders scanned, and I don’t want to exclude new folders as new apps create folders with media in them.
Unless I’m missing it (I’ve futzed in the app for awhile and searched this website), there’s no option to protect an entire folder. That would be a nice feature. And, if that feature does exist and I’m just not figuring it out, someone please let me know!

We have “Included folders” in Settings>Main. By default it is empty which signifies that all folders are included. Adding a folder changes it so we only look at the included folders list.
That is true, we do not have a way to protect an entire folder. It is something on our todo list, though.
