I have set up F-Stop on my Tablet to Create a Combined Photo and Video Album
Unfortunately Videos end up dated Year 1970 and therefore not in date order.
Since I know there are too many Video Formats to cover, would it be possible to create a metadata file to describe each video’s metadata including tags, dates of creation, title and location of thumbnail jpg.
I tried to find info about SIDECARS with little success
Yes, that is an issue with video files. Sidecar files would be the easiest way to ensure compatibility but we currently only support tags and ratings. Another option would be THM files that are often associated with videos. They are basically just a JPG file with a THM extension and the same name as the video file. They allow full JPG metadata (since they are essentially JPG files) such as date taken and is on our todo list.

I’m really looking forward to this. I might even assist if possible.
