About a week ago the app stopped showing me to use the swiping features in the video player. Swiping left and right would day forward or rewind the video, and swiping up and down on the left or right of the screen would control brightness and volume, respectively. I even cleared the cache and storage, having I had to redo all of my customizations. Now it asks if I want to play a video or open the media viewer when I click a video. They both behave the same, swiping just moves to the next or previous video and the brightness and volume control functions no longer work at all. Please help me return things to the way they were. I very much rely on those features.
