My Samsung S3 had a feature that let the user make a notation “on the back” of the photo, by handwriting (touch). I didn’t like the handwriting bit at all, but I do miss the comment feature.
Would it be possible to somehow have a meta field for short user notations? It’s handy if you for instance take pictures of several new acquaintances to be able to jot down their names so you know later who is who. Or the name a church, the breed of a funny dog you snapped a picture of, whatever you may want to know later.
Using pen and paper is so much more cumbersome. First, you need to have them with you. Then you must jot down the name/number of the photo so you can relate your notes to the right image.
In case someone else reads this and wonders the same thing, the feature is already there. Just took me a year to discover it. When viewing an image choose Details from the menu and scroll down. You can edit the Title and Description fields (maybe also the Caption field depending on if it’s there in the EXIF???)
