I went into my protected folder and unprotected all the pics so I could move them off my phone. When I was done, one of the folders says 26 images are still there but when I go into the folder, it says there are no images. Is there any way to tell whether there are any images there and, if so, how to get to them?
The best way to do this is to go to the protected folder using a file browser such as ES File Explorer. This FAQ will help you with that: http://www.fstopapp.com/faq/#toggle-id-1
If there are any files in that folder, I recommend you use the recovery technique outlined in the FAQ to recover the files.
