Photos are blurry in grid view

Greetings,

Just came by this app which can do nested folders if I pay for it. And I’m almost there….

However, compared to my phone’s Photo Viewer and Google photos, my grid view looks pretty bad. I think it’s compression artifact. I realize the photos have to be compressed hard to be able to scroll fast, but I think it’s over done, since my other viewers looks much better.

Is there a way to change the quality in grid view?

I forgot to mention that under “Setings\Layout and drawing” there is a setting for Thumbnail resolution, but, as far I can tell, it has no effect in the grid view

Yes, that is the setting you need to change. However, after you change it, nothing will happen. Only thumbnails from this point on will be created using this new resolution. So, what you need to do is change that setting, and then go to list of images, select one “blurry” thumbnail and then select “Refresh thumbnails” from the menu. This will recreate this particular thumbnail. If you are satisfied with resolution, then you can go to Settings//Cache and click on “Refresh thumbnails cache” which will remove all created thumbnails.
