  Hello,
  
  I have only recently started to use F-Stop Pro and really like it! I love the tags, which I use to categorise my photos. However there is one major feature missing and that is the Image description in the exif information.
  
  I would really like to:
  – see the Image description in the image details besides the name, tags and rating.
  – be able to edit/set the Image description.
  
  Would this be possible?

  We plan to allow editing and searching many more EXIF fields (such as description).

  Excellent! Do you have info on an approximate release date?
  
  Also would we be able show image description with the ‘overlayed’ metadata, besides filename, tags, rating, etc? Not just in the image details.

  Unfortunately, I can’t provide a release date at this time. The plan is to allow the user to customize what is shown in the overlay.

  Hello, do you have an update on plans to include image description? I have purchased another app that can do it, but would rather have this functionality in f-stop. I believe it would make it a killer app for photo management!
  
  Actually sometimes I now use f-stop in stead of acdsee pro!

  Just wanted to say I love the ability to edit the image description that has recently been added!
  I hope you can add a button on the (tablet) main viewer to access it easier, just like the tag editor. Now it’s a bit hidden.

  Just to clarify, currently I have to go through the following sequence to update the image description:
  Press menu icon -> details -> scroll down -> press edit description icon.
  
  Would be great to have this pencil icon straight on menu bar. Am using this function a lot these days.

  Even though I have become used to all the steps to go through when I want to edit the image description, I would still love to see an option to get there quicker. Any chance you can do this? Even if it’s just an ‘image details’ button on the main screen, or moving this option up on the menu…
