I took a large number of panorama photos on a recent vacation. When I view them in F-Stop Pro, all display with a gray icon overlaid on the middle of the image, ruining the viewing experience. If I tap the icon, I get an error message stating, “Cannot display panorama. The image file does not contain the required panorama metadata”. I’m not trying to activate any special functionality on these photos – I just want to view the images like any other photo without an icon blocking the image.

My device is a Galaxy Note 9. I assume there’s some sort of conflict between the way the Samsung camera takes panorama shots and the way F-Stop reads them.

Is it possible to disable whatever is causing this icon to appear? Thanks in advance.

Has this been resolved? I know it has been a while, but I have the same issue with galaxy s20..

        Hey there,

Yup they fortunately resolved this years ago. Go to Settings > Media Viewer and uncheck Draw Panorama Icon.
