I’m using F-Stop Gallery 5.3.5 on a Samsung Tab A. I swear I did not touch any of the folder settings before this started happening this evening, and the last update to the app was on June 20.

I’ve been using F-Stop to view the images I have saved on my tablet, and until today it’s been working beautifully. I’d go to the Folders view, and it would show ONE image as the thumbnail per folder. As I have a large number of image folders, this was fine. However, tonight for whatever reason it didn’t originally pick up the image folders, so I just restarted the app. However, when the folder view loaded it was now showing a thumbnail for each folder consisting of FOUR images from the folder. It’s so cluttered it’s actually hard on my eyes and I *HATE* this type of thumbnail. I want to switch back to the single-image thumbnail that it used to have but I cannot find that option anywhere in the menus. Also, and I need to stress this, I DID NOT ADJUST the folder thumbnail settings until this started happening as the default was just fine.

So now the app’s Folders view is showing me a cluttered mess. Please help.

      I figured it out.

Under the six-boxes at the top I selected “Large thumbnails” and that fixed it. Still like to know how it switched as I swear I’ve never touched that before, and that’s not exactly intuitive when every other thumbnail related setting is under “Settings->Layout and drawing”.
