Hey F-Stop Team,
I’d like to import my images directly from my dslr camera to my tablet. Although the basic Gallery app and googles Camera Importer basically can do this job, they lack proper customization.
I would find it very handy if F-Stop could directly import my photos from the camera. I’d like to specify file name pre-/suffixes based on exif data and the target folder. Photo selection should include a “select by day” feature.
That would be great!
Hello,
Can F-Stop see the DSLR camera when it is plugged in? Does it get mounted like an SD card?
Hey Jason,
when the camera is plugged in (via USB OTG), Android suggest a bunch of Apps for dealing with it. For instance, the build in Gallery or Google+ Camera Importer. It seems to announce itself as Camera device (as it would at a PC). However, I cannot access the camera via the file system directly, e.g., with ES File Explorer or TotalCommander.
Hello,
Sorry, we do not plan on supporting this type of feature. Have you tried Nexus Media Importer?
Yes, I tried. At least Nexus Media Viewer, to check compatibility with my Nikon D5100. It is not compatible.
