ParticipantI often use the “Title” field (under the “Details” drop-down menu) when I want to give my photos a more detailed and searchable description (tags sometimes don’t give me the level specificity that I need, and changing the filename can potentially mess up my photos chronological order in certain programs). Sometimes, I’ll give multiple photos the same “Title.” For example, if I take a bunch of photos at ‘Ed’s Diner,’ I’ll put ‘Ed’s Diner’ in the “Title” field for all of them, so if I ever need those photos, I can just do a “Search” on ‘Ed’s Diner.’ Since I’m not regularly pulling ‘Ed’s Diner’ photos, doing it this way saves me from further cluttering up my “Tags” collection with an ‘Ed’s Diner’ tag.
The issue is that entering the same data into the “Title” field for multiple photos in F-Stop Gallery is pretty labor intensive. I have to go through each photo one by one, tapping on “Details” and then copy pasting ‘Ed’s Diner’ into the “Title” field. I’ve explored a few apps like ExifPro and QuickPic, but for some reason, the “Title” field doesn’t even appear as metadata in these apps. So far, the best solution I’ve come up with is to plug my phone’s SD card into my PC and then batch edit all the photos’ “Title” fields in Windows. This works fine, but I was hoping someone out there would have a solution that can be done entirely on my phone.
Thanks in advance for your ideas and suggestions!

ModeratorI completely understand your issue, and hopefully we will have better EXIF editor one day (maybe not in so distant future).

ParticipantI’m interested in this as well. As there are frequent updates now I hope this better exif editor is operational soon!
