I gather from a few posts (and one review in the Play store) that F-Stop can access images via SMB shares. But for the life of me, I can’t see any way to do it. What’s the trick???

This is my main reason for trying F-Stop. I keep all my photos on a NAS server. I’ve got an Android box connected to my TV, and I’d like a way to show my photos to friends. So far, I haven’t found any app that can do this properly, without a lot of fuss and needless confusion. I don’t need tags, albums, cloud storage… just a way to display my already-sorted photos.

I’ll happily buy the Pro version of F-Stop, if I can make this work.

In Fstop, Cloud Services, Samba. I use it and it works well.

When you only need to view photo’s from shared folders, ES explorer can do that.

I have this issue as well. SMB is working on other machines and in Solid Explorer.
Are there any news regarding this issue?

F-stop only supports SMB v1 at this time. We do plan on updating but this is most likely the reason you are having SMB issues.
