      Hi,
Is there a way to search for images that contain multiple tags? For example I have a few photos that are tagget ‘Cars’ and ‘Transmissions’ and other images that are tagged ‘Motorcycles’ and ‘Transmissions’ also just images with those tags alone.

Is it possible to search for all the images containing tags ‘Motorcycles’ and ‘Transmissions’ but not get any other images?
Is it also possible to search for images containing ‘Motorcycles’ tags but exclude ‘Transmissions’ for example?

I think you can do everything you need with smart albums.

For example, you can have one album that has the condition that “Includes all” for the 2 tags “Motorcycles” and “Transmissions.”

Then to get “Motorcycles” that don’t have the “Transmissions” tag, you’d need another album that contains 2 conditions:
Condition 1: “Includes all” for the “Motorcycles” tag
Condition 2: “Excludes all” for the “Transmissions” tag

So lets say I have for example 10 different tags that I would like to search like that I would need to create a smart album for each of the combinations? There is over 3.5 million combinations for the 10 different tags.

For some of those combinations, you could alternatively use the “Search” function using the Boolean “AND.” Unfortunately, I don’t think F-Stop supports the Boolean “NOT,” so you wouldn’t be able to get “Motorcycles” that don’t have the “Transmissions” tag.
